opening up about my financial trauma | poverty, addiction, being uninsured | Teachers Talk Money

This was a tough one to make. I’ve been wanting to share more of my story with you all for a while now, and I finally felt ready to make this video. I’m a highly privileged person in so many ways, and I have also had financial traumas throughout my adolescence and early adulthood. This is part of what has made me so passionate about financial education and policy issues. I hope this makes you feel seen in your own experiences, or teaches you something. Please be nice in the comments 🙂
